Stephen Morris is certified under the Serotta International Cycling institute. He has been avid in all forms of bicycle racing, BMX in the 70s, Road Racing and later MTB (multiple disciplines) and Triathlon (sprint to Ironman) in the 80s to present.
Previously with the Canada Revenue Agency he opened Bikes and Beans (great coffee bar in the store) in 2006 and has been a staple in the community ever since. It is the shop you go to when you want to pick someone's brain about bike and triathlon related items. There are many stories about visitors asking locals where they can get a great Latte or coffee and the response is "Go to the Bike Shop down the street" they come in and are shocked to see couches in front of a fireplace and flat screen with a cycling event on, children's play area and dog bowls and treats for the 4-legged visitor.
They have also installed a paved bike bath in the back of their building for safe test rides as well as a MTB dirt test loop. At the very back of their property they provided the land for the municipality to install an urban BMX park.
A very unique bicycle shop.
